When you live an experience, in a certain place or with a certain person, you feel that there is something special, something that prescinds and transcends human nature. And today I ask myself: what were those small experiences that had great effects in my life?
Well, I can say that meeting Franco Battiato, a rare person with an ancient soul, was a significant turning point for my change.
This musical project is an opportunity to further explore these experiences and wants to be a heartfelt thanks to the worlds, people, places that I have met, explored, assimilated.
2 tracks lasting about 20 minutes.
1. It was a magnificent flash!
2. Tam Đảo Listening to silence
Acoustic carpets that vary over time, into which tales and sound environments are grafted. It is more to be considered as a journey, a walk changing the frequencies of a radio from time to time, sometimes having the good fortune to tune into phrases by Franco Battiato, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Mme Michelle Thomasson, Raimon Panikkar, Paolo Terni, Isao Hosoe .
"Fu un lampo magnifico!" is dedicated to the places and people I've met so far.
There are influences of various kinds: from Battiato, with his album "Campi magnetici", to the research that becomes Teho Teardo's style. From Brian Eno to the compositions of Gustav Mahler, without forgetting the intuitive sensibility of Holger Czukay.
And then there are places, Sicily, Istanbul, the Middle East, nature in its entirety.
